Are you encountering excessive mood swings and physical changes in your body?

Is acne becoming an ongoing problem for you?

Or Are you having frequent back pain?

If yes,

then you need to find a proper reason for such problems. According to a survey conducted by OnePoll, 47 percent of women suffer from hormonal imbalance in their lives. A more problematic issue is that the majority of women are unaware of the term hormonal imbalance, its causes and its symptoms.

What is the Hormonal imbalance?

Hormones are an essential part of our body that regulates different body processes like growth, blood pressure, metabolism, reproductive cycles etc. These are the chemicals released from endocrine glands and travel to different organs through the bloodstream to tell them what to do. A slight change in the number of hormones can cause major pathological issues. Teenage girls face such problems at the age of puberty. The hormonal imbalance in young females is generally induced by the following four causes

Stress

Stress is the chief stimulator of hormonal imbalance. It causes the body to produce cortisol, and an added quantity of cortisol can lead to Cushing’s syndrome. The enhanced cortisol levels affect the supply of other hormones, which result in major hormonal disbalance. Young girls can face stress in many forms; it can arise due to educational pressure and social expectations. Regulation of stress is significant to avoid hormonal disbalance in the body.

Eating disorder

Eating disorders can highly affect the level of hormones in the body. The conditions like Anorexia nervosa, Bulimia nervosa, binge eating can lead to altered estrogen levels. Eating disorders trigger a cycle in the human body. It induces stress, weight gain, depression and many pathological diseases which include cardiovascular diseases, high blood pressure, high cholesterol etc.

Chicken based diet

Eating chicken is the primary cause of hormonal disbalance in teenage girls. Fast Food is becoming very popular in the young adults and teenage population. It strongly affects the body and leads to hormonal imbalance and weight gain. Chicken is a great source of protein, but increased breeding of chicken with unhealthy feed and steroid boosters can cause real hormonal issues in females.

Obesity

Obesity is the chief cause of many problems of the human body like hormonal disbalance, high cholesterol, blood pressure, blood sugar, myocardial infarction etc. Obesity in young girls can lead to increased production of insulin which can cause “polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS)” which is the major cause of troubles pregnancy and infertility in girls.

Conclusion

Hormonal imbalance can cause huge problems for girls in the future, therefore they need to be tested and cured by doctors. Prevention from the above-mentioned causes can reduce the risk of hormonal disbalance, but it is a severe problem that has a high prevalence rate. So if you face such symptoms, avoid their causes and go to a doctor immediately.
